Blitz currently works with enterprise brands across categories including Fashion, Beauty & Personal Care, and Healthcare, helping them achieve a 30%–40% increase in website conversions and 2x improvement in retention through a best-in-class delivery experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own end-to-end operations across multiple Quick Commerce dark stores, ensuring operational excellence and consistent service levels.
  • Drive key operational metrics including SLA, OTIF, OPH, order fulfilment, productivity, and rider availability.
  • Lead and manage Store Managers, Team Leaders, and operations teams to build a culture of accountability and high performance.
  • Plan manpower and rider requirements based on order volumes, demand patterns, peak hours, and operational requirements.
  • Monitor planned vs. actual rider supply, absenteeism, utilisation, and productivity, and take corrective actions to bridge gaps.
  • Analyse operational data and dashboards to identify trends, gaps, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and drive corrective actions.
  • Own key cost and efficiency metrics including CPO, pendency, cancellations, manpower productivity, and operational losses.
  • Ensure smooth operations during peak demand periods, festivals, rain, unexpected volume spikes, and other operational disruptions.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements to improve productivity, service levels, and customer experience.
  • Drive Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives across dark stores and standardise best practices across the network.
  • Build effective monitoring mechanisms and review operational performance regularly to ensure adherence to business targets.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Supply, Central Operations, HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to resolve operational challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating processes, operational controls, and safety guidelines across all dark stores.
  • Actively identify opportunities to improve rider utilisation, manpower efficiency, order fulfilment, and overall cost efficiency.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduation degree from an accredited university with 2–4 years of relevant experience in Quick Commerce, E-commerce, Last-Mile Logistics, or Operations.
  • Prior experience managing multiple dark stores, hubs, or operational locations will be preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Quick Commerce operations, order fulfilment, rider operations, and last-mile delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret operational data and dashboards.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and operational dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of key operational metrics such as SLA, OTIF, OPH, CPO, pendency, cancellations, rider productivity, and availability.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills with the ability to manage Store Managers, Team Leaders, and frontline teams.
  • High ownership, accountability, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience managing operations across multiple Quick Commerce dark stores.
  • Strong data-driven approach with the ability to identify operational gaps and translate insights into actionable solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in improving SLA, productivity, rider utilisation, cost efficiency, and order fulfilment.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations, changing priorities, peak demand, and operational disruptions.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and drive a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Kaizen, Lean Operations, RCA, and process improvement methodologies will be an added advantage.
